 Peggy earned her BA in Economics from National Taiwan University and an
MBA in Finance and International Business from the University of
California at Berkeley. A partner with CGU since 1985, Peggy has been
assisting individual clients with complicated tax and estate planning
issues, as well as assisting businesses with audit, accounting and tax
needs. Fluent in Chinese, Peggy has an extensive multinational
clientele, which is mostly composed of business with either foreign
parent companies or foreign subsidiaries. She has also successfully
represented many clients in dealing with the taxing authorities in their
tax audits resulting in extremely favorable outcome. Working closely
with many law firms in the Bay Area, Peggy has assisted with litigation
support, will contest and marriage dissolution. Through her efforts,
clients have successfully minimized their taxes while at the same time
reached their financial goals and objectives.

 Jeff is the partner in charge of accounting and auditing services for the firm. Since 1981, Jeff has advised clients with a multitude of business needs in financial consulting and accounting services, including tax and estate planning, valuations, mergers, acquisitions, dissolutions and succession. As a result of his expertise, he has helped clients enjoy improved efficiencies and greater profitability. In addition to his work at the firm, Jeff is highly involved in the community. He is a councilman for the City of Redwood City and serves on the Board of directors for a number of community organizations

 Kathy joined CGU in 1992. She has gained valuable experience in one of the largest high tech companies in the country prior to becoming a partner at CGU. Kathy's areas of expertise include taxation, auditing and financial reporting. She serves a wide spectrum of clients from individuals to multi-national businesses. She also provides management and computer consulting services to closely-held, as well as public companies. Her fluency in multiple Chinese dialects is a great convenience to our foreign clientele. Kathy earned her BS in Accounting from California State University at Hayward. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accounts.

 Julie has over eleven years of experience in public accounting and more than seven years of experience in accounting in a variety of industries. She has been providing business entities and individuals with accounting, tax, consulting and management services. She offers a wide variety of professional services including audits, financial statement preparation, design and implementation of accounting systems, tax planning, research, tax returns preparation and representing clients before various taxing authorities.
Julie earned her Master degree in Accountancy from California State University at Northridge. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Sheldon, the most recent addition to our partnership, is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. He earned his BS in Business Administration (Accounting) from California State University at San Jose. Sheldon has been in professional public accounting since 1998 and specializes in auditing governmental entities such as cities, school districts, and special districts. He also audits various types of federal, state, and county grants, as well as performing audits for privately held companies. Sheldon’s versatility and knowledge of auditing standards, covering multiple industries, assures quality audit services for our clientele.
